P1.9-M in meth seized from 2 suspects in Camarines Norte drug bust

LEGAZPI CITY—Police seized more than P1.9 million worth of shabu, or crystal meth, from two suspects at a buy-bust operation in the town of Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte province on Tuesday.

Col. Marlon Tejada, Camarines Norte police director, said in a report that suspects Randy Leona, 23, and Mark Anthony Quijan, 32, were arrested at the village of Sta. Rosa Sur around 9:30 a.m.

Police seized a plastic bag with 280 grams of shabu estimated to be worth at least P1,904,000.

Tejada said Quijan was on the police’s drug watch list.
