Cynthia Tipace Carriedo, widow of the late Jack Hartendorp Carriedo of Davao City, passed away in Quezon City on the evening of Monday, Oct. 12, some three weeks after her 73rd birthday.

She suffered a stroke a few days before dying peacefully, surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her children — Arnold, Steve, Jonathan, Elaine, and Richard — and their spouses and children, and her siblings and their spouses — Jovencito Tipace and Josefina Caro Tipace and Amada Tipace Valino and Antonio Valino. Her eldest sister, Adelaida Tipace Magno, had passed on years before her.

FEATURED STORIES

Born Sept. 21, 1947, Cynthia was the youngest daughter of Cecilio Tipace of Bulacan and Pacita Reyes Tipace of Nueva Ecija.

Her remains lie at the St. Simon Stock Chapel at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Project 6, Quezon City. The wake will be from Tuesday and Friday. On Friday, her remains will be buried in Gapan, Nueva Ecija (not cremated as earlier announced).

As COVID-19 quarantine rules limit the number of people attending wakes, her family would appreciate flowers instead.
