3 suspected drug pushers nabbed in separate Lucena busts

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in two separate buy-bust operations here Saturday morning.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, reported that anti-narcotics agents arrested Marilyn Martinez, 34, and Mark Anthony Pabria, 31, after they sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Ibabang Dupay at around 10:45 a.m.

Earlier at 8:20 a.m., police also arrested Nel Royce Coladilla, 32, in another drug sting in the neighboring village of Mayao Crossing. Coladilla, included in the police list of identified shabu peddlers, yielded 10 sachets of shabu.

Police said former drug users in the villages gave information on the suspects’ illegal activities.

The suspects are now facing complaints for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
