MANILA, Philippines — The photos show the aftermath of the riot that transpired inside Quadrant 4 of the New Bilibid Prison’s Maximum Security Compound that led to the death of nine persons deprived of liberty and injuring others.
Based on the report by the Bureau of Corrections, the “free-for-all” scuffle was between the gangs of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Sigue Sigue Commando.
The cause of the riot is still being investigated.
