2 drug suspects slain in shootout with cops in Bulacan; P250k ‘shabu’ recovered

BUSTOS, Bulacan –– A suspected illegal drug trader and his unidentified companion were killed during a reported shootout with policemen here on Thursday.

Orlando Macaraig and his cohort were caught selling “shabu” worth P250,000 to an undercover agent in Barangay Malamig before they fired shots at responding policemen, said Police Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director.

Police recovered 40 grams of shabu placed inside 11 heat-sealed plastic sachets, counterfeit P1,000 bills, two .38-caliber firearms, ammunition, and four identification cards from the slain suspects.
