Siquijor has 2 new COVID-19 patients
TAGBILARAN CITY –– The province of Siquijor has recorded two new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, Oct. 8.
In an advisory posted on the province’s Facebook account, the two patients—a 26-year-old male patient and a 22-year-old female patient—came from the towns of Enrique Villanueva and Maria, respectively.
Both were stranded in Cebu before they went home.
A swab test was conducted last Oct. 5 and the results showing they were infected with the virus were released on Thursday.
They were immediately quarantined at a facility in Salagdoong, Maria.
The Siquijor Provincial Task Force COVID-19 urged people to continue following the minimum health standards, such as wearing of face mask and physical distancing.
