PAL to resume flights to Boracay

MANILA, Philippines — National flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume flights to Boracay via Caticlan airport in Aklan, to boost domestic tourism as the government reopens the world-famous resort island on Oct. 1.

PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said the airline’s flight PR 2041 would depart from Manila at 11:10 a.m. on Thursday and arrive at Caticlan’s Godofredo P. Ramos Airport at 12:10 p.m.

The return flight, PR-2042, leaves Caticlan at 12:55 p.m. and will be back in Manila at 1:55 p.m. Villaluna said PAL would also mount flights on Oct. 4, 9 and 11.
