Woman goes to court after father defeats her several times on board game

A 24-year-old woman approached the family court counselor in Madhya Pradesh, India, after her father beat her several times on the board game Ludo.

The woman, whose name was withheld, complained about her father whom she accused of cheating whenever they, along with her two siblings, played the game during the lockdown, as per India Today on Sept. 27.

“The woman said she lost respect for her father as he went on to defeat her. She felt that her father should have lost in the game for the sake of her happiness,” the counselor Sarita Rajani was quoted as saying in an interview with ANI.

Aside from not letting her win, the woman said she was mad because she did not expect her father to cheat as she trusted her, according to the report.

The situation got so bad that she had to take four sessions speaking with the counselor. After these sessions, however, the counselor noted that the woman “feels positive” now. Ian Biong /ra
