TACLOBAN CITY –– Two earthquakes shook the province of Biliran on Monday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The first quake hit the province at 10:31 a.m. with a magnitude of 3.1 and a depth of 011 kilometers.
The epicenter was traced at the island-town of Maripipi.
At 2:02 p.m., another tremor hit the province with the town of Kawayan as the epicenter.
The quake had a magnitude of 3.6 and a depth of 011 kilometers.
Both quakes, Phivolcs said, did not produce aftershocks or damages.
