P6,000 in marijuana seized from woman in Santiago City bust

SANTIAGO CITY-A 33-year-old housekeeper was arrested after she was caught selling marijuana leaves during a buy-bust operation here on Tuesday (Sept. 22), authorities said.

Joel Plaza, director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency(PDEA) in Cagayan Valley, identified the woman as Irene Ramero, a resident of Barangay Divisoria here.


Seized from Romero were dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops and stalks worth P6,000.

She will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
