MANILA, Philippines — The main office of the Philippine Health Insurance (PhilHealth) in Pasig City is temporarily closed to the public after one of the employees tested positive for COVID-19.
In a social media post, PhilHealth official Twitter account announced the closure of its office along Shaw Boulevard, Oranbo in Pasig City from Sept. 22 (Tuesday) to Sept. 23 (Wednesday) to give way for disinfection of its facilities as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.

In a text message to INQUIRER.net, PhilHealth spokesman Rey Balena said the closure of their main office has no effect on their operations as their local offices are still open.
“No effect because actual frontline transactions are with our local health insurance offices and not at the head office,” Balena said.
