DOST scholarship

THE Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Science High School (DOST-PSHS) in Negros Oriental announced the opening of application for the 2012-2013 high school scholarship program.

Qualified scholars will enjoy free tuition fee, free loan of textbooks and monthly stipend.

Scholars from low-income families can avail of uniform, transportation and living allowances, the DOST said.

Those eligible to apply for the scholarship are Grade 6 pupils who belong to the upper 10 percent of batch 2010-2011 and does not have a grade below 80.

Application forms may be filed at any PSHS campus and DOST regional and provincial offices. The deadline for submission is July 15. Interested applicants may call the DOST office in Dumaguete City at 4222300 or 2254551.
