Quirino doctor tests positive for COVID-19
CABARROGUIS, Quirino –– A senior hospital physician here has tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), officials said.
Gov. Dakila Carlo Cua said the doctor works at the Quirino Providers Medical Center but resides outside the province.
Being a non-resident of Quirino, the doctor was not included in the province’s COVID-19 tally.
The doctor has been asymptomatic and was quarantined for 14 days.
Fifteen health workers, who came in contact with the doctor, were also swabbed for COVID-19 and were awaiting the test results.
The hospital was also locked down for two days to give way to disinfection.
