Retired cop shot, wounded in Cebu City
CEBU CITY –– A retired policeman was shot and wounded by still unknown assailants in Barangay Talamban, Cebu City at past 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police Insp. Bernie Junco, who used to be assigned at the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, was rushed to the North General Hospital for treatment.
Major Jonathan Taneo, chief of the Talamban Police Station, said another person, who has yet to be identified, was also wounded.

The police have yet to give updates regarding the status of the two victims as of 4:30 p.m.
An investigation has been conducted to identify the assailants as well as the motive behind the killing.
