P748,000 in meth seized in Malolos drug bust

CITY OF MALOLOS–Police seized P748,000 worth of shabu, or crystal meth, from a woman during a buy-bust operation in a village here on Sunday.

Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, said Maritess Montalla was caught selling seven sachets of shabu to an undercover agent during the drug sting at the village of Mojon around 3:15 p.m.

Also seized from Montalla were a small weighing scale and drug paraphernalia.

Montalla would be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
