MANILA, Philippines — The total caseload of the coronavirus disease in the Philippine National Police (PNP) has reached 4,947.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, the police organization said it recorded six new cases of COVID-19. Of the number, five are from Central Luzon while one is from Soccsksargen.

The police personnel also documented 3,532 total recoveries with 25 additional survivors of the respiratory disease.

PNP’s death toll maintained at 16 with no new fatalities recorded this Saturday.

PNP is also monitoring 737 probable and 3,147 suspects of the coronavirus disease.

As of Saturday, the Philippines logged a total of 257,863 COVID-19 cases. This includes 187,116 recoveries and 4,292 deaths.
