MANILA, Philippines — The Western Visayas region and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms on Tuesday due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

“Dahil sa epekto ng ITCZ, ang Western Visayas at buong Mindanao ay makakaranas ng maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan at thunderstorm,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said in a 4 a.m. weather forecast.

(Due to the effects of the ITCZ, Western Visayas and the entire Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.)
