D-league semis starts today
THE NLEX Road Warriors and the Cebuana Lhuillier try to take the first step in forging a title rematch as they take on separate opponents at the start of the semifinals in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup today at the San Juan Arena.
The two teams, which battled for the Foundation Cup championship eventually won by NLEX, are two games away from making another finals appearance.
The Road Warriors looked unbeatable during their seven-game winning streak to close out their elimination round. They will try to extend that when they face off against Big Chill at 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, Cebuana Lhuillier and Freego Jeans start their best-of-three series at 2 p.m.
