MANILA, Philippines — For the second consecutive year, the Commission on Audit (COA) awarded the Office of the Vice President (OVP) with the highest rating audit.
Citing a COA report, the OVP said that state auditors rendered an “unqualified opinion” on the fairness of the presentation of the office’s financial report for fiscal year 2019.
According to COA, an “unqualified opinion” rating is considered the best opinion that a government agency can receive.
The OVP also received an “unqualified opinion” from state auditors for fiscal year 2018.
““Ang gusto nating pasalamatan dito iyong ating mga staff—lalo na iyong admin—na sila talaga nag-aasikaso ng ating mga proseso. Salamat sa lahat na OVP family kasi pinagtulungan natin ito lahat,” Vice President Leni Robredo said in a statement.
(I want to thank the staff—especially the admin—because they took care of the processing. Thank you to the OVP family because we worked on this together.)
Robredo’s office added that it has sustained its ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, which it pursued in 2017, in a bid “to streamline its processes, improve its various units, and promote a sense of honor and commitment among its staff.”
