MANILA, Philippines — A fire that hit a residential area in Malabon on Saturday evening is now under control, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Metro Manila said.
In an initial report, the blaze, which struck houses along Bronze Street in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon, began at 6 p.m. It reached second alarm after about ten minutes, BFP said.
BFP declared the fire under control at 8:30 p.m.
No cause of fire and cost of damage were immediately revealed as the incident is still ongoing.
