P1.36-M in meth seized from suspect in Bulacan drug bust

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—The Bulacan police seized P1.36 million-worth of shabu, or crystal meth, from a suspect who was wounded in a drug bust on Wednesday (Sept. 2) in San Miguel town.

Gilbert Catiis was wounded when he fired at San Miguel town policemen after he sold the meth to an undercover agent at the village of Bulualto in san Miguel, according to Capt. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police chief.

Catiis was found in possession of 200 grams of meth.

He was treated at a hospital and discharged. He is now detained at the San Miguel municipal jail.
