2 suspects fall in CamSur anti-drug operations
LEGAZPI CITY—Police arrested two drug suspects in separate operations in Camarines Sur province on Tuesday (Sept. 1).
Col. Rodecio Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police director, said the first suspect, Joy Garcia, 44, was arrested during a search operation at the village of North Centro, Sipocot town past 9 a.m.
Seized from Garcia were 22 sachets of shabu, or crystal meth, worth some P11,000. Police described Garcia as a high-value target.
The next suspect to fall, Bernard Botor, 30, was arrested during a buy-bust operation at the village of San Juan around 1 p.m.
Botor yielded four sachets of shabu. Police said he was on a drug watch list.
