MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon is expected to bring scattered rains over parts of the country as it will affect central and southern Luzon on Tuesday.

Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon, the weather bureau said in its daily forecast.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought by the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
