MANILA, Philippines — National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) recently turned over four brand-new ambulances to government hospitals around the country as part of its COVID-19 relief and response efforts.

Rizal Medical Center, San Lazaro Hospital, Ospital ng Sampaloc and Siargao District Hospital received one ambulance unit each from NGCP as part of the company’s P1-billion donation to the Filipino people.

This is in addition to the ambulances donated to Philippine General Hospital, Philippine Orthopedic Center, Philippine Heart Center, Quirino Memorial Medical Center and Biñan Doctors Hospital on July 5.

NGCP’s earlier donations include medical equipment and supplies to more than 300 hospitals around the country.
