MANILA, Philippines — A group of teachers from a private school in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya showcased Filipino pride as they donned Buwan Ng Wika-inspired face masks and face shields.
In a Facebook post by the Office of the Student Affairs — Saint Louis School on Wednesday, it showed the teachers wearing the matching face masks and face shields covered with beads, flowers and other kinds of decorations.
According to the post, the local competition was inspired by the Buwan Ng Wika celebrated for the month of August, as well as to bring awareness on the proper wearing of face masks and face shields as protection against COVID-19.
“Kaugnay nito, hinhihiling namin ang inyong pakikiisa at pagsuporta sa patimpalak na ito sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay reaksiyon na PUSO sa mga larawan na ninanais niyong magwagi. Ito ang batayan sa pagpili ng mananalo sa Netizen’s Choice Award,” the post read regarding the ongoing competition.
