MANILA, Philippines — Davao Occidental was shook by a 4.6-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake hit 133 kilometers southeast of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, at 10:54 a.m., Phivolcs said in its bulletin.
An Instrumental Intensity I was felt over Malungon town in Sarangani.
The temblor was 82 km deep and was tectonic in origin.
Phivolcs said no damage or aftershocks could be expected.
