BI: Foreign spouses of Pinoys need visa to enter PH
MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Tuesday reiterated its reminder to foreign spouses of Filipinos intending to travel to the Philippines that they need to secure visas to enter the country.
Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente issued the reminder after several foreigners, allegedly married to Philippine citizens, were denied entry at Ninoy Aquino International Airport for failure to obtain visas prior to their arrival. The foreigners presented only marriage certificates and had no visas.
