MANILA, Philippines — Sea trials for the Philippine Navy’s second missile-capable frigate, the BRP Antonio Luna, has been set next month.
Navy public affairs office chief Lt. Cmdr. Maria Christina Roxas said the schedule of the sea trials was tentatively set sometime in mid-September and would mark the last stage of construction before BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) is delivered to the Philippines in January or February next year.
Construction was started by South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan on May 23, 2019.
