House logs 52nd COVID-19 case

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives recorded the 52nd coronavirus disease (COVID-19) case among its personnel on Tuesday.

According to House Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales, the 52nd patient  is a congressional staffer who last went to the House on June 15.

Montales earlier reminded employees to only physically report for work only when physical presence would be necessary.

“Do NOT physically report for work when experiencing or have experienced any of the COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days. When in doubt, assume the COVID 19-like symptom to be COVID-19,” Montales said.
