Road collision kills 2 students in Abra town
BAGUIO CITY –– Two Grade 11 students in Dolores, Abra were killed after their motorcycle collided with a truck on Sunday in Abra, police said.
Initial investigation showed that the victims, identified as Dreifuss Tumilap and John Leahnne Blanco, were speeding before crashing into the minidump truck around 11:30 a.m. along the Abra-Kalinga Road in Barangay Mudiit.
The two students of the Divine Word College Bangued suffered multiple injuries resulting in their instant death.
The police said the truck driver Sistofer Bayubay, was placed under their custody.
