Lacson on call for revolutionary government: ‘Dapat huwag patulan’
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson on Saturday said that the call for a revolutionary government from a group supporting President Rodrigo Duterte should not be entertained.
“Dapat huwag patulan, kasi ito siguro mga nasarapan sa buhay nila dahil di naman sila Presidente kundi taga-suporta,” the senator said in a interview over radio station DWIZ.
(It should not be entertained, because these people who are having an easy life are not the President. They are just his supporters.)
“They never had it so good. Gusto nila siguro mag-revolutionary government para wala nang election,” he added. “Mga sulsol na wala sa lugar. Ang tawag ng mga karpintero riyan, wala sa hulog.”
(They want a revolutionary government so an election will not happen. These instigators are not in the right place.)
Around 300 people, including Duterte supporters who participated online, assembled at the Clark Freeport to push for a “revolutionary government” to be led by the President.

Archie Gamboa, saying that their group will be holding a long march to Malacañang to drum up support for the revolutionary government.

“Mabuti na lang si General Gamboa di niya pinatulan,” Lacson then said. “At wala dapat pumatol sa ganyan. Kasi anong dulo niyan, anong tinutumbok nila? Under the administration magtayo ng revolutionary government? Anong pakay?
(It is good that General Gamboa did not entertain it. And no one should. What are they trying to achieve? Wy establish a revolutionary government under this administration? What’s the purpose?)
