Airlines resume domestic flights
MANILA, Philippines — With the lockdown in Metro Manila easing on Wednesday, the country’s major airlines are resuming their domestic passenger operations at Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Philippine Airlines said that on Aug. 19, it will start flights to Legazpi, Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Dipolog and Ozamiz.
PAL will fly to Cotabato, Davao, Pagadian and Zamboanga starting Aug. 20. Cebu Pacific will resume flights starting Aug. 19 to and from Cauyan in Isabela, Legazpi, Masbate, San Jose in Occidental Mindoro, Virac, Bacolod, Caticlan, Dumaguete, Kalibo, Roxas, Tacloban, Butuan, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, General Santos, Ozamiz, and Zamboanga.
