Aquino names acting DDB director, NAPC members

Manila, Philippines – The Palace released on Sunday the latest appointments of President Aquino, including an acting executive director for the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB).

Named as DDB acting executive director was Jorge DG Necesito, according to a text message from the office of Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr.

Ochoa also named new members of the National Anti-Poverty Commission  and they were Delfa Taladi, member representing artisanal fisherfolk; Norisa Sabirin (children); Daniel Ang (cooperatives); Ponyong Kaldos (indigenous cultural communities/peoples); Emerlito Rojas (persons with disabilities); Gloria Madayag (informal sector); Maria Cagay (victims of disasters and calamities); Marilou Tapia (farmers and landless rural workers); Marlon Manuel (urban poor); Teresa Fernandez (women) and Gibby Gorres (youth and students).
