A woman who followed a police vehicle while she was driving a stolen car just to “see where he was going” in Ohio in the United States ended up getting arrested.
Christina King tailed the marked patrol car of Sgt. Matala, a Butler County deputy, for over 17 kilometers on Aug. 16, as per CBS-affiliate television station WHIO on the same day.
Matala was driving to work at around 7 a.m. when he noticed that another vehicle was following him. He also noticed that the car committed several moving violations during the drive.
King followed Matala through every road and matched his every turn, eventually leading her to a parking lot, according to the report.
Matala then initiated a stop and discovered that King was driving a stolen B-Safe Driver Education car. She was arrested at the scene.
It was not specified whether she had planned to turn herself in, but she told police that she “just wanted to see where he was going” upon being asked why she had tailed Matala. Ian Biong /ra
