MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Northern Luzon are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains on Sunday brought about by a low pressure area (LPA).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the weather disturbance was last spotted at 225 kilometers east northeast of Casiguran, Aurora.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of the country in the afternoon or evening, Pagasa added.

The weather bureau warned of possible lash floods and landslides in rain-affected areas.

Light to moderate wind speeds from southwest to southeast with slight to moderate coastal conditions will prevail over Luzon.

The Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, will have light to moderate winds in the southwest direction, along with slight to moderate sea conditions.
