Comelec to resume voter registration on Sept. 1

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will resume its voter registration activities starting Sept. 1 in areas where quarantine levels have been downgraded to at least general community quarantine (GCQ).

Under Comelec Resolution No. 10674, the poll body will resume receiving applications for voter registration in areas under GCQ, modified GCQ or where quarantine measures have totally been lifted.

Applicants are required to wear masks and face shields and are encouraged to bring their own pens.
