PIAT, Cagayan – The decomposing remains of a 45-year-old farmer was found in Calaoagan village at 10:30 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 14), three days after he was declared missing, police said.

Danilo Gregorio left his house on August 11 and had not returned. Police Colonel Ariel Quilang, Cagayan provincial police director said Gregorio’s body was found near some grassland by Calaoagan resident Alvin Agpaoa.

Police recovered two liquor bottles containing traces of insecticide and a note meant for his five children, which advises them not to quarrel.
