Did You Know: BFP did over 2 million safety inspections Jan-Oct 2019
According to the latest report of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Bureau of Fire Protection has conducted fire safety inspections in 2,035,260 building structures and establishments, including newly-opened businesses and government buildings, from January to October 2019.
This figure was a 7.35 percent increase from the 1,885,593 establishments inspected during the same period in 2018.
Of the number of establishments inspected in 2019, a total of 40,061 were either issued notices of closure and correct violations and/or abatement orders.
