MANILA, Philippines — Local oil firms slashed pump prices of diesel by 20 centavos per liter but raised prices of gasoline by 25 centavos per liter as concerns about the pandemic cut short a brief rally of international crude prices.
Petron, Shell, Seaoil, Cleanfuel, Phoenix, Total and PTT announced priced changes effective 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Petron, Shell and Seaoil also reduced pump prices of kerosene by 35 centavos per liter. Dubai crude, the Asian bellwether, was at $43.51 per barrel, also up from $43.28.
