CITY OF ILAGAN–The city government has relaxed community quarantine measures being enforced in 29 villages after health workers completed contact-tracing for new COVID-19 cases.
Kiryll Bello, acting mayor, said the villages shifted to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) after a meeting with officials of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).
With the easing of the lockdown, offices were allowed to operate on a 50 percent capacity and with skeletal workforce and work-from-home arrangements.
Passes are being distributed to villagers to allow them to go out for essential travel starting on Tuesday (Aug. 11), according to Bello.
He said a liquor ban is still in effect while tricycle drivers will be allowed to pick up only one passenger per trip.
