COTABATO CITY——-A four-month-old boy and 33 other COVID-19 patients in the Soccsksargen region have defeated the disease, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
In its bulletin on Friday, the DOH in Region 12 said the 34 patients have been officially included in the list of recoveries and were advised to be released from quarantine.
This is the highest single-day count of recoveries in the region, according to health officials, raising the total number of recovered patients to 184 since March 18.
Arjohn Gangoso, DOH 12 spokesperson, said 23 of those who recovered were from Sarangani, eight from Sultan Kudarat, two from Cotabato City including the 4-month old boy, and one from South Cotabato.
Also on Friday, DOH 12 recorded four new cases of infections, raising the total confirmed case to 316. The new cases were two from Sarangani and one each from Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato provinces.
