Students violating liquor ban to lose scholarship

Minors who are students in Muntinlupa City caught violating the liquor ban in the city during the pandemic shall lose their city scholarship.

Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi has banned the sale, delivery, and consumption in public places of liquor and alcoholic beverages during all levels of community quarantine.

Minor violators or those below 18 will only be given a stern warning on their first offense but shall lose their city scholarship on their second offense. Adult violators shall pay P500 for the first offense, P1,000 for the second offense, and P2,000 for the third offense. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
