SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES—Olongapo City logged its highest single-day increase in COVID-19 cases on Friday (Aug. 7), officials said.
Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said seven new COVID-19 patients were added to the city’s tally of 19 cases.
Among the latest reported cases were those of two health workers aged 26 and 30.
The other new COVID-19 cases included those of a 53-year-old woman who was previously diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, a 45-year-old woman who arrived from United Kingdom in July and a 54-year-old man who was scheduled for gall stone removal.
Also infected were a 58-year-old man who is the father of another COVID-19 patient and a 32-year-old woman who gave birth last month.
To date, the city listed 22 recoveries and three fatalities.
