Ex-rebel gunned down in Sorsogon City
LEGAZPI CITY — A former member of the New People’s Army (NPA) was killed by unidentified men inside his house in Sorsogon City on Tuesday night.
A report from Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said rebel returnee Alejandro Dulpina Claveria, 49, was watching a show on television with his family at 11:45 p.m. when two men barged into their home in Barangay San Jose Maricrum, Bacon District and shot him several times.
His family was unharmed, the report said.
Police were still determining the identities of the gunmen and their motive in the killing.
