MANILA, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority observed heavy along the southbound lane of EDSA, particularly from Kamias to Buendia Wednesday morning, an MMDA officer said.
“The southbound lane of EDSA from Kamias to Buendia has been experiencing heavy traffic since the rush hour this morning… around 9 a.m.,” Communications Equipment Officer 3 Darius Reyes said.
Reyes said that moderate to heavy traffic was seen on the northbound and southbound lane of C-5. Moderate traffic was observed from FB Harrison to Taft Avenue (northbound lane), he added.
The MMDA has not received any reports of floods from their command centers in local government units in Metro Manila, Reyes said. He however said that they were coordinating with the LGUs and would gather data on floods if there were any.
