Notorious Albay drug suspect falls

LEGAZPI CITY – A high-value drug suspect  was arrested in a buy-bust operation Saturday afternoon in Tabaco City, Albay province, police said Sunday.

Police Captain Dexter Panganiban, Albay police spokesperson, said Kevin Loriaga, 30, a resident of Barangay  Sto. Cristo, was arrested after selling a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover agent in his village at around 5:15 p.m.


Loriaga is ninth in the city’s drug watch list, Panganiban said.

Recovered from Loriaga were four sachets of shabu and other drug-using items. He will be  charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act 9165.
