MANILA, Philippines — Only 950 clients per day would be allowed to secure documentary requirements from regulatory and frontline offices at Camp Crame in Quezon City while the country is under a pandemic.

Philippine National Police chief Gen. Archie Gamboa said the new measure aimed to restrict civilian movement inside the camp to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

As of 6 p.m. on July 31, 42 more policemen contracted COVID-19, bringing the total number cases in the police force to 2,151. Another policeman also died due to the virus, bringing the total death toll to 11.
