The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Friday said it would continue to be rainy over the weekend due to the southwest monsoon, or “habagat.”
Pagasa weather specialist Robb Gile also said a low pressure area (LPA) formed within the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) at 2 p.m. on Friday, which Pagasa is monitoring.
The LPA that was within PAR on Thursday has moved away and was seen over the West Philippine Sea. —Patricia Denise M. Chiu
