Ilocos regional police office on lockdown after 3 applicants contract COVID-19

DAGUPAN CITY –– The Ilocos Regional Police Office in San Fernando City, La Union was placed on lockdown starting Thursday after three police applicants from Vigan City tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Police. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., Ilocos regional police director, said the recruitment had been suspended.

Azurin said the camp’s premises, particularly the areas where the recruitment was held, would be disinfected

He did not say how long the lockdown would last.
