151 patients recovered from COVID-19 in Las Piñas
MANILA, Philippines–A total of 151 coronavirus patients recovered from the disease in Las Piñas City on Wednesday.
This brings to 684 the city’s recorded recoveries, said Mayor Imelda “Mel” Aguilar.
Twenty-five patients recovered from the disease in Barangay Pulanglupa Uno, 13 in Pulanglupa Dos, 12 in Manuyo Dos and 12 in Talon Dos, the Las Piñas City Health Office (LPCHO) said.
The LPCHO said the city has 292 active COVID-19 cases, 999 confirmed transmission and 53 deaths.
The health agency attributed the recoveries to the expanded targeted testing being done by the city.
Article continues after this advertisementAs of July 28, 6,844 persons have undergone swab testing and 10,028 rapid testing, according to the LPCHO data.
At the same time, the health agency said it is strictly implementing screening and contact tracing in a bid to stop the spread of the virus.
Currently, the city has 56 patients in isolation facility in LIGTAS 1 for COVID Center in Barangay Daniel Fajardo and 54 patients in LIGTAS 3 Sogo Alabang.
